Study at prestigious UK universities with a Student Route visa (formerly Tier 4).
Eligibility Requirements
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed sponsor
- Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/SELT)
- Sufficient funds for tuition and living costs
- Valid TB test certificate (for certain countries)
- Parental consent if under 18
- ATAS certificate for sensitive subjects
Financial Requirements
You must show evidence of:
- First year tuition fees (or full fees if course under 1 year)
- Living costs: £1,334/month (London) or £1,023/month (outside London)
- Funds held for minimum 28 consecutive days
Work Rights
Degree level students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays. Students at degree level or above can also bring dependants.
Graduate Visa
The Graduate Route allows students to stay and work for 2 years (3 years for PhD graduates) after completing their degree. No job offer required. This provides a pathway to skilled worker visas and settlement.
