Financial Requirements
You must show proof of funds in a Swedish bank account:
- SEK 9,450 per month for 10 months (SEK 94,500 total per year)
- Paid tuition fees or exemption documentation
- Scholarship award letters accepted as proof
Work Rights
Students with residence permits for studies can work unlimited hours during their studies. No additional work permit required. This flexibility allows students to support themselves while gaining valuable work experience.
Job Seeker Permit
After graduation, you can apply for a residence permit to look for work or start a business. The permit is valid for up to 12 months. Once employed, you can apply for a work permit and eventually permanent residence.
